What an awesome night out! The drag show was brilliant... everyone was fabulous (Black Pepper and Venus included)! DJ Jack had the vibe popping! It was a happy, inclusive atmosphere, and the drinks were great! Definitely check out Delmonicas!

A great place for a fun night out in Glasgow! Delmonicas boasts a lively atmosphere, friendly staff, good music, and diverse entertainment. Whether it's karaoke, drag shows, or just a few drinks with friends, there's always something going on. A welcoming, friendly place with plenty of charm, definitely worth a visit.

I had a really disappointing experience at Delmonicas. I was refused entry at the door with a blunt “nope, not today” from security, with no explanation given. It honestly felt like a strange power trip rather than a legitimate reason for denying entry… especially after seeing that other reviews mention similar behaviour from the same security guard. For a venue that promotes itself as welcoming and inclusive, this didn’t reflect that at all. It was actually my first night out in a new city, and being turned away like that set a pretty awful tone for the evening. Management really needs to take a serious look at who they have on the door. Situations like this don’t just affect one person… they actively put people off coming in and are clearly leading to repeated negative reviews. You’re losing potential customers before they even step inside. I’d recommend going elsewhere until this is sorted.

My husband and I tried to visit on a quiet Saturday night, quite early so the place wasn't busy. Bouncer told us "not tonight" even before we got to the steps. We're a POC couple. Hard to know exactly why we were refused entry but if you're POC do be careful if you're thinking about coming here.

I finally visited Delmonicas in Glasgow, expecting a big, sparkly, inclusive night out… and instead got a slightly awkward cameo appearance in someone else’s long-running series. To be fair, it looks the part. Great space, lively crowd, and all the ingredients for a brilliant night. But the overall vibe felt very close-knit. Like everyone’s been best friends for years and you’ve accidentally joined midway through season 8 without watching the earlier episodes. There was a drag show on, which I was excited for, but it felt less like a performance and more like tuning into a live podcast. Lots of inside jokes, chatting, and moments where the crowd was clearly in on something… and I was very much not. Entertaining if you’re part of the circle, a bit confusing if you’re not. The drinks were… fine. Not bad, not memorable. But as a non-drinker, I definitely felt a bit like I’d shown up to the wrong party. There isn’t much effort to make you feel included if you’re not holding a cocktail, which adds to that outsider feeling. And the music… let’s just say it had a personality. Bold choices were made. Some worked, some had me questioning reality on the dancefloor. All in all, it’s a nice place with a strong community, but being part of the LGBTQ+ world doesn’t automatically mean you’ll feel included here. If you’re a regular, you’ll probably love it. If you’re new, bring a friend… or at least a strong sense of confidence and a willingness to vibe solo.
