Revolver Glasgow
Visitors frequently praise the central location and helpful, accommodating staff who make the venue feel welcoming. However, a common complaint is significant noise from the nightclubs located directly beneath the accommodation, which is not always clearly disclosed and can be disruptive even on weeknights.

Kian is the most friendly and welcoming guy in glasgow 5 stars from him.
Different kinda hotel but worked out fine. Had private room with shared facilities
Party Hostel with friendly staff, open 24/7 and a great shower. Doors are a bit loud and it sometimes smells a bit weird.
Staff was friendly and always around to help out. I can only speak for the second floor, as that’s where I stayed during my visit. I stayed in a shared dorm which felt too small for the number of people accommodated. There was no ventilation in either the room or the bathroom, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. I can only imagine how unpleasant it must be during the summer months. The mattresses could use replacing, as it felt like I was sleeping directly on the springs. The showers also need attention since there was no way to adjust the water temperature. While there was some obvious noise coming from the nightclub, it was actually less disturbing than the constant noise from the hostel doors. Overall, I feel the hostel should invest in some improvements considering the price charged per night.
:) The staff are amazing! I really felt cared for which is awesome, and they were there to help with anything at any time. The location is great to get to places, I appreciated the bus station being so close, and all in all, it was nice and clean, with everything you might need, except for a kitchen. :( I had no bad surprises, just stuff I knew from reviews that might not be perfect (for example the noise at night, again, there being no kitchen, and the sandwich style triple bunk beds where you can't really sit) - but obviously, I still booked it, so I'm not blaming the hostel in any way. :) I just wouldn't have thought it would have that much of a bar-vibe, with loads of guys drinking beer in the shared area, playing pool etc, so there wasn't really a quiet place to have a meal or a call. But for three nights, that was totally okay.
Fine hostel, didn’t really get any social vibes out of it. Located in clubbing street which caused some nuisance. Overall kind staff and alright facilities. Doors are very heavy and loud which is slightly annoying. Lockers with code are a big plus.
Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Lock on both bedroom and toilet were broken, someone was smoking inside on my level. Very poor hygiene. Told reception lock on the communal toilet was broken off and the door had a huge gap down the middle with direct view of the toilet.. and he just said to use a different toilet… Sent email to manager who was extremely unhelpful and offered no refund for horrendous experience. Felt very unsafe as a lone female traveler. AVOID
