About this place VFDalston

VFDalston, the former Vogue Fabrics basement, is a small queer club and arts space on Stoke Newington Road in Dalston. It hosts an eclectic programme of queer club nights, drag and performance, art events and workshops, aimed at the east London alternative crowd rather than the West End gay scene. The space is tight and the bar has been cash-only, so bring cash. Events change week to week, so check its social media for what is on before you go. It has a 3.8 rating from about 70 reviews. Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction Overground stations are a few minutes' walk away.

found the drinks very expensive considering the tiny venue size and the sound system wasn't that great either

Very hot and they need to invest in AC, I found the bar staff off putting and have zero people skills. Why look miserable? When people are trying to have a good time. The toilet was not clean and there was zero effort made to make it fresh or welcoming. Drinks are over priced !

Unfortunately, I got overcharged for a drink, and despite the fact staff tried to search where that came from, I still remain overcharged on my account for a drink I didn’t have. If you’re not able to refund me, at least you could offer me the drink you charged me for. Anyways, the drinks are really overpriced in general, more than other clubs, but that’s really a shame because I had a great time with my friends and I feel like I got scammed by the bar. I’m personally someone with low income at the moment and that’s really messed up to make till mistakes and not do something about it. I won’t comeback or perform there. I do work in a fast paced environment in hospitality myself and I always take care of my customers regardless and will never leave them with something they didn’t pay for charged on their account. Date: 08/05/2025. Time: 8:50pm.
