Trans Social — London LGBTQ+ Community Centre
More dates for this show
About the event
A relaxed social event to meet and chat with people who identify under the trans and gender non-conforming umbrella.
Come down to the London LGBTQ+ Community Centre for this monthly Trans Social!
Whether you’re a trans person new to London, newly out, or looking for more connections, this social is for everyone!
We will play some games, chat, chill, and hopefully make some crafts with new friends.
The event will be neurodivergent friendly with a smaller quiet space available for those who need it.
About the organisers
Lori is a London-based writer and theatremaker, and a doctoral researcher at the University of London and Columbia University.
Her work is centred on communal movement practices, embodiment, and autonomy.
In addition to her scholarly and artistic work, Lori is an organiser and advocate with London Trans+ Pride with a focus on route planning and accessibility.
Gavin (he/him) is a queer trans man who has lived in London for 11 years.
He works in the education sector by day, but outside of work, he's passionate about the outdoors, making queer connections, and playing rugby and netball with queer teams in London. He spends a lot of time hiking and walking in and around London, too.
Lori will host April, May, June, July and August socials.
Gavin will host September, October and November socials.
