via Stay22About this place Nua
Nua, on Tib Street in central Manchester, is an adult shop built around making customers feel at ease.
The place is designed for women, especially for lesbians. This alone makes it stand out from most sex shops, which tend to be geared towards straight men, or at least have a heavily male-coded atmosphere. Here, LGBTQ+ women can browse without feeling judged or pressured.
Manchester’s LGBTQ+ scene is well-established, with plenty of shops and bars. Adult retailers here run the gamut from purely transactional to places that actually care about the customer experience. Nua is definitely in the latter camp, pushing for comfort and sophistication. It's the kind of place where you can take your time, local or not, and actually feel comfortable while you’re looking around.
It’s easy to get to, right in the city center. If you want a non-creepy adult shop, or just want to support an LGBTQ+-friendly independent retailer while you’re in Manchester, Nua is a good stop.

I'm giving it five stars to raise an unfair rating. The sauna is very large, with many rooms, clean, and fully equipped. I don't understand where all the negative comments some people make are. Very good.
Terrible
I came here on my birthday since its free did £5 for membership but it wasnt a big deal, this is the first time i have experienced a sauna that has a bar but a bit annoyed they didnt have more refreshing snacks other then that i was looking forward to rude staff like the reviews mentioned but no one was rude just professional, i was a bit surprised with all the cameras everywhere but with how the sauna runs things it makes sense i checked out the kinky room if im lucky enough ill bring a date here, snack recommendations (for myself not for you) Those big asian pears, either the peach milk from the chinese supermarket or ayran from the turkish shop near shudehill Since they have small lockers dont come packed
Sauna for gay people like this guy
Awful! The guy at the reception was super rude!
I’ve visited saunas all over the world, but this one manages to set a new low. No proper douche facilities, which is quite basic for a place like this. The whole setup feels neglected, dirty, and thrown together without much care. One member of staff in particular seemed far more interested in scrolling on his phone than actually helping customers, delivered, of course, with that charmingly aloof attitude. Add to that a crowd that clearly wasn’t entirely sober, and it becomes less of a relaxing environment and more of a place you’d rather leave quickly. Which I did.
