Canal Street is the obvious answer, and it is a good one — the Village packs more gay venues into a few hundred metres than anywhere in Britain outside London. But Manchester's scene has spread: queer club nights land across the Northern Quarter and beyond, and the drag calendar runs seven days a week. This page shows what is confirmed for tonight, pulled live from our events calendar — parties, cabaret, bar takeovers — plus which bars on and off the Street are open right now. Quiet night? That barely exists here, but if it happens, start with the open-now list and let the Village do the rest.
