About this place Charlie's

Charlie's is a late-night karaoke bar on Harter Street, between Manchester's Gay Village and Chinatown. The setup is a mirrored stage framed by velvet curtains, and people queue for the mic most nights. It is popular with Asian students as well as the Village crowd, so the room is more mixed than a typical gay bar. It runs until 04:00, and Friday and Saturday open at 22:00, which makes it an end-of-night stop rather than a starting point. The weekday daytime hours on the listing look unreliable, so check before going early.
