Great location, less than 10 minute walk from train station. We arrived too early to check in and our bags were held while we explored. All the cities highlightsxwere less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The entrance to the hotel can be eslasily missed as it's between 2 shops. Head up the stairs to the 1st floor where reception is located. Staff was friendly and courteous. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious. A/c was on upon arrival. I would stay here again

We had a beautiful, spacious room on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately, there was no elevator, but our luggage was carried up and down for us. We had a view of Balliol College across the street. The bathroom was newly renovated and spacious. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Centrally located, perfect! We would gladly stay again.

Room 101: A foul stench of disinfectant in the bathroom. Rugged, old furniture and stains on the doors and walls. Dust spills out of the bottom of the radiator. No ventilation in the bathroom, so it stays damp all day. The air conditioning was a fan standing in the room. I understand that you can't get a 5-star apartment in the UK for £130. But here, they don't even try to hide the problems. A bucket of white paint would have worked wonders. Definitely not again. The location is actually good, unless you want to sleep in the evenings. And checking in with larger suitcases is practically impossible. The stairs are steep and very narrow.

Nice big top floor room. Spacious and everything you need. But, it's very noisy outside (Fri night) until 1am or after. Perfectly central and easy to go everywhere. Staff really friendly and helpful!
