Moxy Plymouth

Moxy Plymouth is a 200-room Marriott hotel that opened in June 2023 on Millbay Boulevard, next to Plymouth Pavilions in the Millbay regeneration area. The design takes its nautical cues from Brunel's Millbay docks. You check in at the bar, with a free drink on arrival, and rooms have walk-in showers. There's a 24-hour gym, on-site parking, and dogs are allowed. The Theatre Royal, the Hoe and Royal William Yard are all walkable. It's a mainstream hotel, not a gay venue. The Swallow and Sappho's on Bretonside and OMG on the Barbican are the places to go for the city's small queer scene.
