Even though the decor is a bit tired, the lovely staff and excellent location were value for money. The hairdryer needs an upgrade, but the bathroom was clean, shower was new and the room was spacious.

The hotel itself is very tired looking and needs a serious refurbishment. Rooms are aged in design, very dusty and need a good clean (see photos). However, the bed was clean and very comfortable and together with the blackout curtains, a very good night's sleep was had. The location is perfect for exploring Rochester, literally 2 mins from the Cathedral and castle.

The center of a lively, central street, where it is always fun and interesting. Very close to the bus stop and train station. Parking. The hotel has everything you need. There is a bar on the first floor, so this is a big bonus.

The staff were very good and helpful. The beds were excellent and so was the whole of the room. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Very tired room well overdue redecorating..Came down for breakfast but despite the room folder saying breakfast between 8. And 10 there wasn't anyone anywhere. It was quite spooky.but later on when we returned to get changed there was someone at reception. And said don't do breakfast anymore. I would say that it isn't good value for money.
