Riad Palais des Princesses & SPA

Magnificent riad. The staff are absolutely lovely. The location is truly superb. Right in the heart of the medina yet peaceful, and a Moroccan breakfast that changes daily.

In the middle of the old town, walkable to town square. Very accessible by foot, not by car. Plenty of shopping and snacks/coffee nearby. Good restaurant in the hotel. Very firendly and lovely staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms.

I've stayed at the Riad twice now. It's always been just as pleasant, and the service at reception is perfect. Rachid is there to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The massage and spa treatments are very enjoyable. It's very well located in the heart of the Medina. I'm not usually a fan of enclosed pools, but this one is still very nice. I highly recommend Riad des Princesses.

A magnificent riad in the heart of the medina. Its facilities are worthy of any museum. The rooms are comfortable and spotless. It's located a two-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fna square. The staff is delightful. If I had to find a fault, it would be that regulating the shower water temperature is a little tricky, but nothing a little patience can't fix. And the breakfast buffet is a bit small but varied. Definitely a place to return to.

The place is beautiful, the people are very friendly and helpful, they have a good breakfast (it costs 15 euros per person, but it's very good), the rooms are super clean and comfortable with air conditioning, everything is very, very comfortable. They sent us a taxi to the airport and also took us there; the ride was 15 euros and very safe. They have everything. We ordered a private tour of Essaouira and it was fantastic because we could stop anywhere and the van was very comfortable. The reception staff speak Spanish, French, and English, so don't hesitate, this place is magical.

Totally recommended, the place is beautiful and the service too. It is very clean, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is very complete. Located in the middle of the Medina, but once inside everything is peace and quiet.

Extremely disappointing experience. Severe water leakage entered our room during heavy rain, making it unsafe and uncomfortable. We reported it immediately with photographic evidence, yet management later falsely claimed no complaint was made. Additional concerns included unpleasant odours, poor professionalism, and a complete lack of accountability.

We had a wonderful stay here. One thing I really appreciated was how convenient everything was. They have a waiting area where you can stay if you arrive early before check-in or even after check-out, which was super helpful. The food was amazing. Both dinner and breakfast were so good, but the dinner really stood out. The carbonara was definitely a highlight. The rooms are beautiful, especially the bathroom. It gives a very authentic Moroccan vibe. I also loved their indoor pool. It’s warm and still gets natural sunlight, making it really relaxing. Our only regret was not booking the hammam spa in advance, so we had to go outside for it, which was a bit of a hassle. Definitely recommend booking it early. The staff were all very kind and accommodating, which made our stay even better. Plus, they have the sweetest cat named Mimi 🥹 Overall, such a lovely experience. Highly recommended!

Definitely more of a 'hotel' run Riad, you get the beauty and intimacy of a riad but with the attentiveness and staff of a hotel. The rooftop terrace was really nice to relax and read. The staff are super friendly and helpful. If they don't have the answer or service at their location you're looking for, they will find a way to get it for you. I think it's worth the price.
