Domaine viticole Mount Macedon

We ate at the cellar door recently. The entree carrots I enjoyed. The duck pie was ok. Really enjoyed the lamb shoulder. My husband didn't enjoy the ravioli thought it was undercooked. Greens were excellent. Potatoes were ok. The property is really pretty. Very small limited menu. For us our experience was not ideal your in this fine dining experience in a beautiful location with a beautiful view, and unfortunately the view is impeded due to the design of the room. Our service was also very average. We ordered a bottle of sparking and a bottle of still. They bought the sparkling and never bought the still but still charged us for it. The waiter also cleared our plates when we were still eating our sides. I would recommend the winery as it is beautiful and food was good. But I would go to umm the pizza restaurant next time.

Had a beautiful lunch at this georgous place. Food and wine was incredible and the service was top notch! Shout out to Emily C our waitress she was fantastic! :)

Wonderful venue! As a local celebrant, every time I've officiated a ceremony here it has been seamlessly run by the staff, communication has always been a breeze, and the setting is awesome. And the sunsets at this venue are 100/100 every evening, making for some awesome twilight photos. Highly recommend to any couples looking for a relaxed but classy venue for their wedding.

Rated 1 star. My review was deleted without any explanation, so I’m posting again. We visited the restaurant on 2 May at around 11:10- 11:15 am. We were aware we arrived a little early and asked if the restaurant was open. The staff advised that opening time was 11:30am, which we completely understood. However, as we were travelling with a small baby and it was too windy to sit outside, we politely asked if we could wait inside. The staff member advised us to either go for a drive or find nearby accommodation to wait. This was very disappointing and not the level of service we would expect from a place presenting itself as high-end. Dear Management team, we did walk in on that day, you can check your camera. Train your staff again. Very unhappy.

Came for Mother’s Day lunch and had the most perfect meal, I don’t think I could have chosen a better place. The location was stunning, and we were greeted by a long horn cow and scenic outlooks of the Macedon forests, the cellar door was intimate, great music and at the perfect volume level to be able to talk with my family, attentive service (thank you Brody!) and experience, the menu was fantastic because every meal had a listed wine pairing, the food was amazing and had the best steak ice had in a long time, beautiful wine, relaxed timing, reasonable prices, I don’t think I could have asked for more. My family was very impressed and my mum felt very treated. I sent a message to my friend at the first course that we had to come back, and will definitely hold to that. Thanks team!

Great hidden Vineyard With the best view, strive is outstanding and view from the deck over the Macedon Valley on the right day will forever be etched in your memory as a great spot to catch up, so accommodating wood fire pizzas are superb 👌 recommend the Pinot Gris and Lamb pizza 🍕 Great priced menu

5 Stars ​This place (Cellar Door Restaurant) is an absolute hidden gem in Melbourne! I had one of the best lunch experiences here today. Every course—from the entrees to the mains and desserts—was absolutely delicious. ​Beyond the food, the table service was top-notch and the views are simply stunning. It’s rare to find such high-quality dining with very reasonable prices and a backdrop like this. I’ll definitely be back—highly recommended!

Firs time I came with my wife, beautiful place however the staff was rude to us. They will not sit us in because we didn't book, even though it was 3:00pm outside of lunch hour and it was quite empty. The couple behind us did not book but they got a table. They were profiling us. Judging book by its cover. Another tip, if you have a fancy car and low, don't come. Driveway is gravel all the way to parking spot and low car will definitely bottom out. Not going to recommend this place to any car clubs I know.

Brilliant!!!

We had a private wine tasting with Paige for my daughter in-laws birthday. It was truly an exceptional experience and would definitely do it again. It was followed by a lunch and once again outstanding food and service. Highly recommend this winery..

Celebrating my niece’s 21st for lunch. It was a lovely day. The food, service, price…it was all great!
