Hôtel Medusa

I couldn’t ask for a better hotel to stay at for my short stay in Sydney recently. I was lucky enough to stay in a suite and it was one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in. The fit-out was superb - excellently curated and far from boring. The staff were all lovely, and Zarden took particularly good care of me. Great attention to detail all round, and a fantastic experience for me. Can’t wait to stay there next time I’m in town.

Loved everything about it! We got a free room upgrade, to the velvet suite so have no complaints. The staff were lovely and friendly. Rooms were super clean and had stunning interior loved the little details. Location was also perfect close to everything.

Our stay at Medusa was excellent. Staff friendly and professional. Rooms amazing and restful. And so many extras for guests such as fresh fruit available daily, an ice cream cart and yummy coffee. This is our go to accommodation any time we visit Sydney.

I stayed at this beautiful small hotel for nine nights in early January. From the outside, it looks like a large house. On arrival, the check-in area impressed me, and the rest of the hotel was equally good. The staff here are lovely. The young lady at the reception desk showed me up to my room. I can't recall this happening at other hotels I have stayed at. A few days into my stay another member of staff approached me in the neighbourhood to say "hello" whilst out walking his dog. The two members of staff who were there when I checked out were super friendly too. The hotel is quiet and in a nice area. There are many good places for food nearby. There is a bus stop not far from the hotel entrance but I mostly walked for five minutes to Oxford Street where there are many more buses. I really enjoyed my time at this hotel.

The Medusa charms with its beautiful rooms, a caring staff that goes above and beyond, and the amenities that include bathrobes, Aēsop products, and ice cream bars! They also a shuttle to the airport or to the cruise terminals. If I ever get back to Sydney, I will definitely be staying here.

Perfect boutique hotel. Cute rooms, cute staff 😊 I’m so glad I chose to stay here rather than an airport hotel. Only 15 mins from airport in an Uber to stay somewhere with real charm and character. Loved my short stay.

Absolutely exceptional. We always stay at the QT and decided to try something different. From the minute we went through the front door, it started. They are all so welcoming and helpful, and I would have to say it was one of the best long weekends I’ve had in years. Excellent pub across the road, Bills for breakfast two blocks away, and an epic bakery around the corner called Shadow. Only a 5-minute walk to the iconic Kings Cross. The key is “would we stay there again?” Absolutely, as they get everything right. Well done, team, you have a lot to be proud of.

We hosted a Sydney Pilates Club community event at Medusa Hotel over the weekend and had the best experience. The space is beautiful, intimate, and perfect for bringing people together. The team were incredibly welcoming and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. So grateful to have hosted our community here—can’t wait to be back 🤍

Lovely hotel in an excellent location

Amazingly located, amazingly friendly and helpful staff! Clean well equipped rooms and super situated. Will be staying again!
