Hotel Morris Sydney - Handwritten Collection

My wife and I found this gem for our wedding anniversary. I stay here has been special. It just cool in every way. We are so happy we chose this place , it will be our go to any time we stay in Sydney

Honestly, the room fit out and service in this small hidden gem of a hotel is outstanding!! We LOVED it. Rooms small but funky. Checked out the food at the foyer restaurant. It was SERIOUSLY next level. This is our new Sydney go to!! Thanks Clara and team for looking after us so well.

Staff were amazing

My go to hotel when I visit Sydney. So easy to access from Gadigal station or Central: amazing in house food or range of restaurants straight across the road. And the rooms are so unique and well styled. Always nice to return.

Staff of the hotel is top notch! Super friendly and helpful! The hotel is not! Hotel sound proofing is worst! Cleaness is poor! Moldy!

A wonderful stay at Hotel Morris, a lovely hotel right near the Capitol Theatre! Staff were amazing and attentive. Food and drinks were great! The cocktails so yummy, and the signature tiramisu was divine! Room was comfortable with a great view, comfy seats and bed, and amazing shower! Will definitely recommend and return!

One of the best hotel stays I’ve had in Sydney. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. Such a stunning art deco space with so much character while still feeling modern, elevated and cosy at the same time. What really stood out to me though was how thoughtful everything was. My room already had a steamer and a memory foam pillow waiting for me which, as someone who travels a lot for work, is honestly a game changer for my sleep. They also organised a hair straightener for my room which meant I didn’t need to pack any of those things with me. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, the staff were so warm and welcoming and the location was perfect. I walked into the city multiple times and being so close to Town Hall station made getting around Sydney on the train incredibly easy. Also loved the breakfast and lunch menu downstairs. Such a beautiful spot to reset in between meetings and events. Already looking forward to my next stay!!

The communication at this hotel is incredibly poor. I sent an email inquiring about my payment before my stay, which was completely ignored until I finally made an international call to the reception desk. the impression got even worse after checkout. I realized I had left my underwear pouch in the room and called the reception twice to check. Both times, they promised to check and call me back, but I never received a single update. I eventually had to go back to the hotel in person, only for the duty manager to tell me they could only check the following day. The lack of follow-through and unprofessionalism here is unacceptable. I will not be staying here again.
