Veriu Broadway

On the surface this looks like a great hotel, spacious room but the finer details are lacking. The tv in the bedroom did not work, dishwasher played up, no bath mat or hand towels in the bathroom. The sign in the bathroom said leave the towels on the floor if you want them changed. Mid morning I asked reception if the room would be cleaned and was told the check outs were being done first . Later that evening still not done, asked a new receptionist what was going on and was told rooms aren’t cleaned on weekends but could give us towels if needed. We should have been told this on checking in. Lack of detail and care. Would rather spend my dollars elsewhere!

If you're happy to tolerate a water leak in the roof of the bedroom, make sure you book room 306B. This is obviously not a new leak, as per the floor picture, but they seem to not do anything about it and continue to rent out the room. They just place a towel on the floor to catch the drops of water.

I stayed at Veriu Broadway for 3 weeks due to flooding in my apartment and had an exceptional experience. The staff were so welcoming, from the handwritten note when I arrived to making sure I had everything I need. The studio room had all the amenities I needed and the shopping centre was a 5 min walk around the corner. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

This is an Extremely Disappointing Experience. In January, I made a reservation for check-in on February 19th and specifically requested that the king-size bed in the room be arranged as two single beds. At the time, I received confirmation from the hotel that this request would be honored. However, on February 18th—just one day before my arrival—I received an email stating that my request for two single beds was “no longer available,” and that if I did not accept this change, I could cancel my booking. This is completely unacceptable. I had made my request well in advance, and it was confirmed. I also made it clear that I did not wish to share a bed. Yet, at the last minute, I was told that the arrangement was no longer possible. This leaves me with no time to make alternative arrangements. I can only accept it. Why was my request confirmed a month ago, but suddenly unavailable right before my stay? It feels as though the room I booked was given away to someone else, despite my early reservation. This experience has caused me significant inconvenience and disappointment,

Good service, great location and massive rooms - Unfortunately this hotel is let down by the worst shower/toilet spaces I can remember. Presumably repurposed in an industrial style from an original old-persons-home fitout

Very generous sized rooms - spacious, king sized beds with kitchen. Quiet location, close to broadway shopping centre. Nice staff. Easy check-in. No hotel amenities however.
