Clam Bar

I celebrated my birthday at Clam Bar last night, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening. The food was exceptional, every dish was beautiful. The service was amazing, the team were warm and attentive and made us feel so well looked after throughout the night. Thank you so much !!!

Tuesday night, fantastic dinner spot, enjoyable background music, easy to converse, wonderful wait staff. No clams on the menu, which was a surprise given the name, but highly recommend the cheeseburger.

This place is perfectly beautiful and even the restroom was gorgeous! Everything we ordered was amazing. The steak doneness was perfect, and the sauce, lobster pasta, and creamed spinach were all super delicious. It was a meaningful dinner to celebrate our birthdays before my friend heads back to her country, and our server ‘Role’ made it so much more special. She is hands down the best server ever! She was so thoughtful and attentive, helping us make lifelong memories. Thank you, ‘Role’ for making this my best day in Australia. 💕💕 I’m definitely coming back here again!

This is the first time I am writing a review as I had such high expectations of this place. On arrival we were seated, and after about 5 minutes of being seated we saw a cockroach on the floor. From looking at previous reviews, this is common place which is ridiculous for a restaurant which is supposed to have a “good reputation”. We notified our waiter about this , and they did not seem to care at all. We thought this was completely unjustified seeing as the prices that we payed, and I had the belief that the service here would be great. Please do not trust the reviews of this restaurant, we were very displeased and the gentleman that we assumed was the manager was very unsympathetic and didn’t seem to care at all. We do not recommend at all.

Top quality.

My top 5 favourite restaurant globally, and I have eaten out a lot. This place makes food come alive; though the freshness and delicate preparation of the dishes. Nothing here is ever one dimensional, every flavour is intentional. I would dine here every other day if I could. Must try the prawn appetizer, fish of the day, clams paired with unique cocktails. You will thank me!

Have been a few times. Amazing service. Went for my girlfriend and I 6 year anniversary. Took great care of us. Food was so good.

We went here for my birthday last Saturday. Unfortunately I was very sick and couldn’t stop vomiting 2 hours after finishing my meal. The calamari was rubbery and the banana pie pretty average. Redeeming feature was the aged ribeye 800g for $300. Absolutely delicious piece of meat, however cooked poorly with charcoal all over. Cocktails were weak. All in all we were quite disappointed having spent 600+ between two of us. Twice drinks and food were unceremoniously placed on our table , which were not ours. For the price the service needs much improvement

I loved the intimate space and the bar down the end. All the dishes were delicious, but the stand outs were the tuna tartare with beef fat roasted potatoes, the chicken liver parfait crumpets and the lobster spaghetti.
