As a regular customer of the Fattal chain, who has stayed at many of the chain's hotels in Israel (including several times in hotels that we particularly liked). We just recently stayed at the "Bazaar" hotel in Jaffa, which is parallel to yours, and we were treated to a very high-level experience with wonderful and courteous service. Unfortunately, our last stay last weekend at the The Jaffa hotel where we chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary, was extremely disappointing and does not at all justify the price or the hotel's labeling as a "luxury hotel". To start with the only bright spots - the hotel's design is indeed impressive, and the employee Adir from the Bellboys team was simply professional, helpful, courteous and exceptional. That's where, unfortunately, it ends Here is a breakdown of the serious shortcomings we experienced during our stay: 1. The level of maintenance of the hotel and the rooms: In the room: The curtain was broken and did not open properly (only from the control panel next to the bed), the door stopper was not working, and the water flow in the shower was very weak. In the dining room: The tables where we sat were shaky and moved constantly, which made the meal clearly uncomfortable. Safety and infrastructure: During our stay at the spa, the elevator got stuck when the doors refused to open for about 10 minutes, until the system fixed itself. Worse, the response from one of the employees there was "once again the elevator is stuck" - which indicates a recurring malfunction that is not being properly handled 2. The level of food (Saturday meal): The Saturday breakfast was poor and did not come close to the level of mid-week. The pastries were completely dry and it was impossible to get quality coffee. From a hotel that is branded as luxurious and luxurious, the expectation of culinary delights is completely different. 3. Service Consciousness, Disdain, and Transfer of Responsibility Check-out time on Saturday was set for 1:00 PM (significantly earlier than the usual time in most hotels – 3:00 PM). Since we had pre-booked a spa treatment for 3:30 PM, and knowing that we had a very long drive home, we asked to extend our stay in the room (even for a fee) until at least 4:00 PM. We were met with a complete refusal, claiming that the room was booked, and with an unpleasant and dismissive attitude. When we asked to cancel the spa treatment as a result, an exhausting and dismissive "ping-pong" of transferring responsibility began: the spa team referred us to the hotel, and the reception manager returned the responsibility to the spa, without anyone really trying to listen, come to us, or solve the problem. Even during check-out, the receptionist suddenly leaves without comment. At 1300, there is a long check-out line because they leave one representative to handle the load even though it is known that there is a check-out at that time, and then at 1430 there are already three representatives. This is called poor management. The pool was full, we just wanted to rest before treatment and travel, and we were left without a response. To extend our stay When I read the comments about the hotel on Google in the evening, I realized to my amazement that this was not a one-time incident, but an existing, deep and ongoing problem of poor service and maintenance that is simply not being addressed. As loyal guests of the chain, we feel deeply disappointed. We will definitely not return to this hotel nor will we recommend it to anyone. The hotel is run with disdain, is not attentive to its guests, and requires a thorough and immediate in-depth inspection.....

We stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. We were given a room with a somewhat disappointing view. After contacting the reception, the room was immediately changed to a room on a higher floor. We enjoyed it very much. The service was courteous. It is highly recommended to join a tour of the hotel's ancient building with Ruth, the hotel employee, who shared the history and personal stories of guests who know the hotel from its previous incarnation as a hospital. The tour and the stories gave added value to the vacation.

We came to the hotel spa, Raphael beauty spa. 12 hours before we came they cancel the entrance to the pool only for the spa customers. We asked to speak with the manager of the hotel and the spa. Till now, week after no one calls us. Bad service. They violate their own agreement and contractwith their clients and also ruin our stay.

Very beautiful hotel, breakfast several levels above any other hotel and very courteous and helpful staff (including a fascinating tour of the building and the hotel - highly recommended). The rooms are of a high standard except for the difficulty in regulating the water in the shower. Parking is very problematic.

Stunning hotel in a great location. The staff at the reception are really nice The only downside is the opening hours of the pool and especially the buffet. At 5 you could no longer buy coffee
