I was invited by an acquaintance and was a little nervous when I went in, but the Korean owner was fluent in Japanese and very friendly, so I had a great time. They served a variety of dishes, from standard dried foods to homemade small dishes. The staff were also very generous and kept offering drinks, which left a good impression. There was no time limit, and the total bill, including a bottle of shochu that my companion had reserved, was just under 14,000 yen.

We stopped by here as we wanted a fun night but didn’t want to travel to Shinjuku. We were not disappointed! The staff were very friendly and knew a good amount of English. The patrons were mostly locals when we were there, but were all very friendly. The karaoke, snacks and drinks were all very enjoyable. Check it out and have a fun night!

There are many gay bars in Ueno, but this bar has a Korean owner and Japanese staff, and the clientele is international. There is also karaoke, and if you get hungry the owner will make you some spicy ramen, so it's a place where you can stay for a while.

Wow! Walked in here not knowing what to expect and had an amazing night. Had coffee jelly and oolong cocktails. Rick was so kind and told us about the bar there and his history. We met friendly locals as well as some other tourists. Really a friendly and lovely time - the karaoke was a great bonus. Thanks for a lovely last night in Tokyo 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜🤍
