Marriage For All Japan

Marriage For All Japan (公益社団法人Marriage For All Japan) is the organization at the centre of Japan's marriage-equality fight — coordinating the nationwide 'Freedom to Marry for All' litigation, public campaigns and lobbying. Five high courts have ruled the marriage ban unconstitutional, and in March 2026 the Supreme Court referred all six cases to its Grand Bench, with a unified ruling expected in 2027.
