We stayed here for one night on the way south. Superb cottage. Clean, comfortable and quiet. An awesome location.

Lovely hosts, beautiful rural setting, would highly recommend.

I had my micro wedding here and I can’t sing their praises enough. The venue is beautiful, Shona and her husband are welcoming and easy going. I felt as though they go above and beyond. I am not normally one to do reviews but I had a fantastic no stress wedding day and it was great value for money. The accomodation was also great and clean.

Absolute bliss - peaceful - relaxing - homely - quiet - in country but only 5mins to town. Loved it wld def stay again.

Best accommodation near wellington! Bed super comfortable, beautiful gardens, private cottage and lovely host. Nothing to improve, just perfect 🥰

My partner and I just spent a very relaxing weekend at Matai Huka. Despite bad weather we had a lovely weekend in this beautiful cottage. The grounds of the cottage are beautiful and the cottage itself had every thing you could wish for. We especially liked the nice touched like breakfast provisions and cheese and home made pickles.

You can't fault this place. Perfect in every way. Stayed 1 night, next time it will be 2 at least. Quiet, peaceful place to chill out with everything you could dream of available.
