Palau Hotel

Staff were friendly and welcoming, helped with all my questions and assisted me in trouble shooting issues with my belongings. The room was comfortable, the aircon was great and the amenities were everything needed. The breakfast was good and the free all day tea, coffee and juice was great. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Genny and the staff were friendly and helpful! This was my favorite place to stay on vacation. Everything is within walking distance. Great location and Staff!

We had a wonderful time at Palau Hotel. Joy and the other staff were AMAZING and made our experience so memorable. Service was fantastic and the breakfast was good and changed each day. Location is great. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Would 100% recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the bed was extremely dirty. The comforter insert hadn't been washed and was covered in reddish-brown stains, and the sheets also had many black stains. Unacceptable. Apart from that, everything else was fine. Thank you for your hospitality. ❤️

We enjoyed every bit of our stay here in Palau Hotel! The room was exactly like the photos. It was very clean (shoutout to the housekeeping staff who made sure the room stayed clean everyday). The front desk was exceptional, namely Joy and Eleen. They were so helpful during our stay and honestly just breaths of fresh air to chat with. They had every information and connected us to anything we inquired about. We’ll miss staying in this hotel and the people working here. Breakfast was decent (albeit some very random options that were too heavy for my breakfast preferences but i ate them anyway and they were pretty good - on some days they served fried fish, pasta, fried chicken), great location, and they have some cool artwork on display!! Thanks for an exceptional stay you guys!!

Overall loved this hotel, location, and the staff - Joy was the best! First off, let me say that Palau does have a few fancy hotels (think Palau Royal Resort), but these are not in the center of Koror and require a car / shuttle to take you most places. We opted for the Palau hotel as it was right in the center of town and we could walk to the restaurants and places we were going (our tours handled the other pickups). If you’re staying in town, temper your expectations - the hotels aren’t 5-star luxury but practical, with all the necessary amenities. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palau hotel, and here were the pros and improvement areas: Pros: 1. Staff is AMAZING - they’re warm, speak English very well, are extremely helpful, and overall great to be around. Especially folks like Joy who made our trip 2. Location is great - major restaurants, bars, and shops are all about a 5 minute walk. On an island that gets hot and rainy, this is critical. 3. Beds were comfortable, AC was freezing when needed, and showers had great pressure. Rooms were quiet and staff cleaned every day. Ares to improve: 1. WiFi in the lobby is super fast (30+ mbps), but in the rooms, it barely went above 2mbps and sometimes didn’t really work. This was somewhat frustrating at night. 2. Rooms are a little dated and in need of a touch up - particularly the AC smells sometimes like the filter needs a change, towels need a bleaching, and shower glass could be wiped down better. None of this was so cumbersome that it bothered me (and I’m used to western-style hotels), but nonetheless worth calling out. 3. Breakfast was meh - one day the hot options were pasta with pesto, fried fish, fried eggplant, and fried chicken. Not exactly what I was craving for breakfast, but hey it is free and there are some decent spots nearby that serve western and Filipino-style breakfast. I also recognize that I’m approaching this from a western palate, while many of the guests are from east Asia and might want something else. Overall though, cannot recommend this hotel enough for your trip to Palau! Really was a pleasure staying there and would certainly come back.

i really appreciate the reception staff (Joy,yssa,genny,ella) and the whole crew with excellent customer services.The hotel is accessible to all major shops, restaurants, and situated on the main street. They will also provide you with wide range of activities and book it easily. I highly recommed the place to make your stay memorable.

I felt incredibly warm and cared for at my hotel in Palau! ✨ During my stay, we met Eleen, Joy, Yssa, and other staff members. They were not only incredibly friendly but also proactively asked for our names, chatted with us, and discussed our itinerary. When we were looking for nearby restaurants, they shared their experiences and recommended dishes. This is an increasingly rare experience in hotels in many tourist destinations. Every time they greeted us warmly and called us by name, we felt happy, as if we had been in Palau for a long time, which made us feel very warm! This is a major reason why I would like to return. In addition, the hotel front desk provides bath towels for guests about to embark on water sports, which is very convenient. Postcards are also sold in the lobby; you can write your message and have the front desk mail it for you at a reasonable price, which is very convenient. The hotel's location is another major plus. It's situated on the main street, making it close to WCTC supermarket, cafes, restaurants, museums, and more.

Perfect stay before Liveaboard. Centrally located, they arranged seamless 3am pick up from airport and checked me in quickly on arrival. 11.30 am check out, luggage storage, supermarket a few doors up, the Japanese style coffee shop and souvenir shop next door is super cute. Excellent fast wifi.

Very well located opposite the shopping center, with many restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast.
