Hôtel Pinnacle

The air conditioner wasn't working, so I asked them to come check it, but they lied, saying a technician was coming. In the end, they never came. I waited downstairs for a very long time, from midnight to 1 AM. Once is enough. The bedroom is nice with a good view, and the bed is comfortable, but the bathroom doesn't have a bidet. There's soap and shampoo, but no toothbrush or toothpaste.

All in all, I was reasonably satisfied. However, the air conditioning didn't work properly and still wasn't repaired after three days, which warrants a few points deductions. The location is okay; you can hear the traffic, of course, which is probably almost unavoidable in the city. Breakfast was good and plentiful, which is a definite plus. If you want reasonably good and affordable accommodation in Bangkok, this is a good option. Three stars are appropriate.

Advantages: Affordable price, convenient transportation, excellent value for money, fresh and plentiful breakfast, plus welcome drinks and mangoes almost all day. Disadvantages: The facilities are rather old, especially the bathtub; also, the shampoo and shower gel are not clearly labeled separately, making it difficult to distinguish which is which.

After 3 days of only mango as fruit for breakfast and no other fruit at all, that is sad; it can't get much worse than this!!!

I stayed for a week in April and it was really great. The employees were friendly and helped me a lot of times because it was my first time in Bangkok. They spoke good english so communication wasn't a problem. When my package was send back they were really nice and helpful and stored it for almost two weeks until someone could pick it up. The location in central Bangkok is also nice because you can get to a lot of places in a short time and uncomplicated. Although it is located right in the city center and on a major road, you don't notice much of it inside the hotel. The room i lived in was bigger than i expected and really nice. (Enough closets and a really big Table) I can just recommend to stay here. :)

The staff was pretty slow with the check-in process, even after the official check-in time. The room itself felt a bit dated with old equipment, but it had a nice view that kept it from feeling too cramped. ​However, there was no bidet sprayer in the bathroom. Also, they use traditional keys instead of keycards, and I found the lock quite tricky and hard to open.

Booked and paid in full through Agoda, only to find out on the day of check-in that my reservation had been cancelled — with zero notice from the hotel. I had to scramble to find last-minute accommodation, which was stressful and disruptive to my entire trip. Agoda handled the refund, but the hotel has yet to offer any explanation or apology. A confirmed, paid booking should be honored. Would not recommend booking this hotel directly or through any platform until they address how they manage reservations.

Overall, it's a very good value hotel. It's about a 5-minute walk to the MRT Lumpini station. For this price, it's incredibly good value. The rooms are standard, a bit dated, but I didn't expect much. What I liked most was the bed and pillows; they were so comfortable, I slept soundly every night. I didn't try the swimming pool, but I checked it out and it's small, more suitable for sunbathing. There's a small gym which is okay. The breakfast was quite good and tasty. Overall, it's great. I'd like to see some improvements: - The atmosphere in the hallways on each floor is a bit spooky. Maybe try rearranging the lighting or adding some decorative items. The lighting is too white. - Adding more lighting to the rooms would be great; it's a bit dark.

The hotel is in a good location and easy to get to, but the service could be improved. A staff member took my ID card to photocopy and forgot to return it. I tried contacting them several times but no one answered. I finally had to call the number listed on Google Maps to ask the hotel to send the card back, but they said they don't have a return policy and told me to pick it up myself, which is inconvenient as I live out of town. They showed no responsibility whatsoever, even though it wasn't the customer's fault. They should have returned the card after the photocopying was complete.
