Best Thai food I’ve had! The mango sticky rice is SOOOOOO good! Deffo come here 😻😻😻
Absolutely incredible food at incredible prices! The best mango sticky rice I’ve had in the entirety of Thailand. Lovely staff also. Wish I could come here every day
This place is fantastic!!! I used to come here when I lived in Bangkok and have since returned to eat here and it is just as good. They are great at catering to vegetarians so just ask for no fish sauce! It is absolutely delicious and my personal favourite is the khao soi (vegetarian).
Very good Pad Thai. Excellent value for money.
Had an absolutely amazing Khao soi here! Only the fried rice with crispy pork had some shellfish residue creeping in, which was a bit less pleasant… Super friendly service, nothing to complain about.
Visited in July 2026. We were a Japanese couple in our 30s and 40s. If you're looking for dinner around Khao San Road, this restaurant is definitely recommendable. The prices are relatively reasonable for a tourist area, and you can adjust the spiciness, making it easy for Japanese people to enjoy. While the taste isn't "amazingly impressive," it's generally reliable and a good place for a casual meal in Khao San. It was quite crowded at night, with many non-Thai customers, creating a lively atmosphere. The restaurant is located along the road, and depending on the seating, cars and motorbikes pass right by, so seats facing the street might be a little less peaceful. The roti shop next door was so crowded there was a long line, and the whole area had a vibrant atmosphere. Upon entering the restaurant, a female staff member, who seemed like a mother figure, asked, "Japanese? Korean?" When we answered "Japanese," she spoke to us briefly in Japanese, creating a comfortable atmosphere for Japanese customers. The service was also friendly. As mentioned in other reviews, this restaurant has a slightly unusual system where only drinks are paid for in cash upfront. Food is paid for after the meal, but beer and cola are paid for when ordered. They have large bottles of Thai beer "LEO," and at 110 baht, the price didn't seem too high for a tourist area. It's surprisingly rare to find restaurants that stock large bottles, so this is a welcome point for those who enjoy alcohol. I ordered Khom Yang (grilled pork neck). The pork neck was grilled to perfection, tender, and had a rich, sweet flavor from the fat. However, it was quite a large portion, and it cooled down a bit as I ate. Furthermore, the cabbage underneath the meat, which seemed to steam it, was a bit unusual and not something you often see in Japan. Despite this, the taste was excellent, and it paired perfectly with the alcohol. I also really liked the pork fried rice I ordered with it. It had a typical Thai flavor with a strong MSG taste, but it was a delicious flavor unlike anything I've tasted in Japan. The pork was fried to a perfect crisp, and the texture was great; personally, it was my favorite dish of the day. It was very easy to eat. This restaurant is known for its Khao Soi, so I ordered it, but I asked for it non-spicy. Perhaps because of that, the overall flavor felt a little bland. The noodles were slightly undercooked, and there were fewer vegetables like onions than usual. On the other hand, the soup was rich and creamy with the flavor of coconut milk, and it was served piping hot, so it wasn't bad at all. However, honestly, it was somewhat disappointing compared to other Khao Soi I've had in Thailand. I think you'd be more satisfied ordering Kham Yang or fried rice at this restaurant. Looking around, many foreign customers were ordering Pad Thai. However, personally, I recommend the combination of Kham Yang and fried rice over Pad Thai. While there are mixed reviews on Google, my personal experience is that it's a perfectly recommendable restaurant for dinner on Khao San Road. The prices are reasonable, the taste is decent, you can adjust the spiciness, and the atmosphere is welcoming even for Japanese people. It's not a high-end restaurant, but you can enjoy a casual meal while experiencing a local vibe. If I ever come to Khao San Road again, I'd definitely want to eat kham yang and fried rice here before heading out to the nightlife.
Orderd fried rice cashew and pineapple with chicken. Both where flavorless
