STAYED ON APRIL 15 with my GF , AMAZING ROMANTIC TIME #NIDHIMUFEED

Very disappointing experience – Check-in refused and refund rejected I booked this hotel through the MakeMyTrip application and travelled from Abu Dhabi to Sharjah with my wife. When we arrived at the hotel, we had already waited for a long time at the reception for check-in. Only after that, we were informed that the hotel required the original physical ID of both guests. I had my original ID with me, but my wife only had a soft copy of her ID. We explained our situation and that we had travelled all the way from Abu Dhabi, making it practically impossible for us to return and bring the physical ID. However, the hotel refused to allow us to check in without the original physical ID. We then requested cancellation and a refund, as we were unable to stay at the hotel due to their check-in requirement. The hotel told us that since the booking was made through MakeMyTrip, the cancellation and refund had to be processed through MakeMyTrip. We submitted the cancellation request, but it was rejected because the hotel did not approve the cancellation. This was extremely frustrating and unfair. We travelled all the way from Abu Dhabi, waited at the reception, were refused check-in, and then were also unable to receive a refund. The overall experience was very disappointing.
