Hôtel Gruberhof Igls-Innsbruck - Bed & Breakfast

We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Gruberhof. The location in Igls is beautiful and offers a magnificent view of the Tyrolean mountains. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. We would especially like to commend the friendly and helpful staff, who made our stay even more enjoyable. The connection to Innsbruck is also very convenient. Overall, a great hotel for anyone who appreciates relaxation, nature, and hospitality. We would love to come back!

I love this bed and breakfast hotel, it's wonderfully rustic and buried in nature. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff always enthusiastic and helpful, they offer free access to public transportation in the area with their bookings. I have stayed here a few times, and its always a pleasure ❤️

Unfortunately, we were unable to begin our planned stay due to an unexpected personal emergency. Despite contacting them multiple times, the accommodation showed no willingness to find a satisfactory solution. We found this very disappointing. Even a partial refund, for example for one of the booked nights, was not considered. Since we didn't arrive at all, this would have been a fair and customer-oriented gesture in our opinion. Anyone who values ​​understanding, flexibility, and a accommodating approach in exceptional situations should take this into account when making their booking decision. Our experience was anything but hospitable and service-oriented.

Due to a personal emergency, we were unable to use our two-night booking. Unfortunately, the hotel offered no compensation whatsoever, even after repeated inquiries. This was very disappointing, inflexible, and definitely not customer-friendly. (As a gesture of goodwill, they could have at least refunded one night and still received the full amount for that night, without any effort on our part due to our no-show.) If you're looking for a supportive host who will assist you in emergencies, this hotel is definitely not the right choice.

We stayed there for the weekend. Booking through the website was easy, and the owners gave us a very friendly welcome. The room with a mountain view was very spacious, and the toilet and bathroom were separate. Everything was spotlessly clean! The free Line J bus (Welcome Ticket Innsbruck) takes you to the city center in 10 minutes. Shopping facilities (Spar supermarket) and restaurants are within walking distance in Igls. A very pleasant stay!
