Bergland Sölden Design- und Wellnesshotel

We were absolutely thrilled and had a truly perfect stay! Our room was very modern and stylishly furnished, spacious, and designed with high-quality details. The cleanliness was also excellent. We would especially like to commend the entire staff, who were always warm, attentive, and helpful. You feel welcome from the very first moment. Another major highlight is the exceptional dog-friendliness. Our dog, Chewy, received just as warm a welcome as we did. You immediately notice that dogs are not only tolerated here, but genuinely welcome. The at least four-course dinner was a culinary delight every evening and the perfect end to the day. We felt completely comfortable and pampered and will definitely be back. A clear recommendation, especially for travelers with dogs!

We've been coming to Sölden for 16 years and have stayed at the Bergland Hotel several times – which makes this stay all the more disappointing. We booked a Deluxe Room and a Wellness Suite. We have a corresponding confirmation (screenshot). Before arrival, we discussed the booking by phone with Nika and then with Luca, and I repeated everything again in full to avoid any misunderstandings. However, upon arrival, only two Deluxe Rooms were listed in the system. The situation was handled inconsistently and unprofessionally on-site. Instead of a clear explanation, we were given the impression that I had misunderstood the arrangements – despite having proof, the guest was blamed. ... What was particularly irritating was: * contradictory statements between staff members (N**a, L**a) * lack of transparency during the booking process * internal information about staff changes that was none of the guests' business * a demeanor at reception that seemed more confrontational than solution-oriented (Ha**ah) I am explicitly not trying to demand a suite that is no longer available. The room itself is fine; only the drain smelled strongly. However, what does not meet the standards of a hotel like the Bergland is the way this situation was handled. As a long-time guest, one expects professionalism, clarity, and respectful treatment—especially when something obviously went wrong internally or shouldn't have gone wrong. Only Josef, the F&B maître d', was a bright spot each evening. A real shame, as the hotel has great potential.

Unfortunately, they are only available for aperitifs and dinners at events. But always a real treat.

We spent a whole week in the mountains and it was one of the best stays we've ever had. From the moment we entered the hotel, we felt instantly at ease and our vacation could begin. The rooms, service, food, and spa area were simply superb! It was a fantastic experience that we would love to repeat!

The most “4 Star” 5 star hotel I’ve stayed in. I sent a detailed internal review post check out listing multiple issues and feedback points, only to receive a generic, useless response. So unfortunately, I’ve decided to leave a public review as well. Lots of improvement areas needed in what has the potential to be one of the great alpine hotels.

Extraordinary!

The room itself was fine for the price, but the view was advertised as panoramic – which wasn't the case – the view was largely obstructed. A shame, as we had specifically booked it in advance. Even the alternative offered didn't provide the same view. We know from previous stays that rooms with panoramic views are available, but we weren't offered one. Service in the restaurant and at reception was very friendly and customer-oriented. The food was average, but by no means outstanding. On two evenings, we didn't eat the main course – the veal was too dry and tough with little flavor on one occasion, and the other time the octopus was tough and inedible. In the afternoon, the Kaiserschmarren (shredded pancake) was dry and unappetizing. The saunas are okay, but not exceptional considering the price. The swimming pool is fine.

Fantastic short stay with group of friends, hotel, spa and restaurant were amazing! Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, will definitely revisit.

We stayed at the Bergland Hotel for six nights as a couple and had a truly wonderful experience. The gourmet half-board was exceptional, from the breakfast buffet with the ever-smiling lady at the live cooking station, to the amazing starters in the evening and the extensive cheese selection, which became our favourite post-dinner treat. What truly sets the Bergland apart, however, is the outstanding service in the main restaurant. Our waiters were always attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. Josef leads the team brilliantly, seemingly with eyes everywhere, and his crew consistently delivered exceptional service. Thank you very much for such a memorable stay!

Our third stay at Bergland and we're still just as impressed with the resort's premium quality. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the restaurant is delicious with impeccable table service, and the buffets are incredible. The spa is very spacious with its indoor and outdoor pools. The manager greets you at your table with great kindness. The location is ideal, just 5 minutes from the ski lift. A big thank you to this magnificent hotel!
