À propos de ce lieu Parcours de la Belgian Pride

Belgian Pride is the annual national Pride demonstration, running in Brussels since 20 April 1996. It is Belgium's largest LGBTQ+ demonstration and one of the most institutionally-anchored Pride events in Europe — the event is formally recognised by the Belgian federal government, the Brussels-Capital Region, and the City of Brussels, with logistical and financial support from all three levels of Belgian government. The route runs approximately 2.5 km through central Brussels from Mont des Arts (the ceremonial civic plaza between the Royal Palace and Central Station) via Rue de la Régence, Boulevard de l'Empereur and Rue du Marché au Charbon to the Grand Place. The route deliberately passes major federal institutional buildings (Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Finance) and the gay-street strip, making the parade's passage a specific dialogue between civic recognition and queer commercial life. Belgian Pride draws roughly 150,000 attendees per year — small by London or Madrid Pride standards but proportionally very high for Belgium's 11.5 million population. Belgian Pride week includes 20+ community-organised events across the city; the parade itself is typically the third Saturday of May. Route is free, walkable year-round as public street. Parade day sees the route closed 13:00-19:00. Best experienced on parade day; on non-parade days the route is a substantial Brussels sightseeing walk covering the city's civic-institutional core. Central Station is directly at the parade's starting point.

If you visit Brussels this walking tour is a must! Our tour guides Clemens and Antoine were phenomenal. They taught us so much about beer, chocolate and pretty much all things Belgium. They were such a fun duo to follow around for a few hours and you can tell they love what they do. They were both very enthusiastic and kept our interest the entire time. We’ve done a lot of walking tours in many cities, but this was by far the best we’ve ever done. Worth every cent!!

It was such a great experience! I've never seen 5 stars with so many reviews, but Hungry Mary deserves it. They offer a city tour with fascinating information about the chocolate and beer tastings, and the guides are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.

Possibly the most enjoyable tour I've ever taken. Our guide, Clemens, was kind, engaging, and utterly hilarious. A lot of beer and chocolate was consumed and it was fun getting to know others on the tour. 100% recommended.

Antoine and Martin are BY FAR the absolute best tour guides ive ever had the pleasure to encounter. The tour itself is exquisite, but Martin and Antoine made it exceed any expectations i had. It truly felt like you were a part of a small family and they were exceptionally knowledgeable. We came as tourists and left as friends. I cant recommend this tour enough. It will be the highlight of any trip to Brussels, I can assure you. 100% worth every penny paid. In fact, knowing what i know now, I would have happily paid double. Keep up the incredible work gentlemen! Sante!

If you're planning a visit to Brussels, I highly recommend taking Hungry Mary's tour. Our group of four had an incredible time from start to finish. It's a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local culture while learning about Belgium's world-famous beer and chocolate traditions. Beyond the delicious tastings and fascinating insights, the tour is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow travelers, share experiences, and create lasting memories. Our guide, Daffney, along with her assistant, Matle, were exceptional—knowledgeable, engaging, and full of entertaining stories that brought Brussels to life. Whether it's your first visit or you're returning to the city, this tour offers a fresh perspective and a deeper appreciation of Brussels. Don't miss the chance to discover a side of the city you might otherwise never experience!
