BISHNU HOSTEL, Zagreb

Our stay at BISHNU HOSTEL was very nice! The two staff member helped us carry our luggage on three floors (when we came AND left). They were very nice and respectful. We chose the 3-bed bedroom, it was all very clean and safe. The restrooms and showers were clean. Cheap and close to the center, I recommend

This place is what hostels are all about. Just dont make too much noise and you will not have any problems. Its great location is what we were looking for. Sleep and shower here and go out to explore the city. Zagreb offers so much, even if your budget is thight so there is no point in spending all day in the room. It has kitchen. Toilets are separated from bathrooms, and thats great imho. There is balcony for smokers. There is locker but I didnt get the vibe that someone will steal here so I just left my backpack outside. All in all normal place.

Such a friendly hostel with a cozy vibe. The staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable.

Super cozy place, I felt very safe and welcomed here as a solo female traveller. Location is close to the main attractions. You don't have to bring your own lockers, but do bring your own towels. The place is on the third floor without the elevator, but it is not that hard to climb with lighter luggage. Everything was clean and functioned properly and the staff will do everything to make you feel safe and accomodated. There is a little balcony as well if you are a smoker. Very lovely place and reccomended! Dear hosts, thank you for everything!!!

The Hostel is on the third floor which isn’t terrible however you will have to walk. The location is good and not too loud and you’re pretty close to everything. We stayed three nights and it was pretty bad!!! The rooms are stuffy and smell bad and I was basically sharing my bed with mold. The staff was not very helpful and honestly quite rude, yes we also made a mistake but apart from that we were very respectful and such. The Kitchen is tiny and on day one we found a bowl full of mold in the Cupboard. On or last night there was a dehumidifier in the corner that spilled on the floor which seemed like it was water but it wasn’t it was mixed with the crystalized chemicals and was very sticky and even tho the staff “mopped” it up it didn’t dry until morning and was super slipper. THE WORST part is probably that on all days during our stay the staff would come in early at 9-9.30 and start cleaning the room opening the windows and making over all an insane amount of noise even though check in is only at 14.00. This made it impossible to sleep in or even begin the day in a chill way. There are also only 2 female showers however you can’t really shower at the same time as the doors are glass and one toilet. The staff in addition was constantly occupying the balcony and drinking beer at work while telling us we were too loud as we were watching a short video very quietly. All in all I would never come back and I do not recommend!!!
