Hotel about 10 minutes from Larnaca airport Poor maintenance level Old and unmaintained bathroom The room is not very clean

I've seen dumpsters that were both nicer looking and cleaner than this "hotel". Please, for your own health, spend 10 euros more per night and go somewhere else. 🤢

I actually don’t know how to begin, but I’ll try so here it is: After one week in Larnaca at another Hotel, we realized that traveling with a one year old and having the flight at 11 pm we will need a room for just a couple of hourse since from the previous hotel we had to check out at 11am. We chose San Remo Hotel for it’s proximity to the airport, as I previously stated, just for a couple of hours. What we have found to say it was filthy , it’s an understatement. The rooms are stucks in time (1950), the level of filth in this hotel is beyond anything I have ever seen. You can’t get a quiet place in this hotel even if your life depends on it. You could actually hear the couple next door as if we were in the same room. The doors are some jokes , made of paper or something, since you can hear anything that happens on the floor. The AC probably didn’t get cleaned ever, the level of dust coming out of it was out of this world. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. I can’t comprehend how do they get authorized to keep this piece of filth open. I understand it’s a 2 stars hotel and I would have never set a foot if not absolutely needed for a few hours. Avoid if possible!

By far the worst experience that I have ever had, hygiene is completely off and the hotel smells. Highly not recommended 0/5

I arrived at the hotel, I did not make a reservation, the entrance to the hotel and the lobby did not look good, I asked to see the room before I booked, the clerk at the reception flatly refused. He said I could only see after payment

At 45 euros per night, which is the price I paid, the San Remo Hotel offers excellent value for the price. It is a practical and modest place to stay, so you shouldn't expect luxury, but you absolutely get what you pay for. The rooms are standard and basic, yet they provide everything you need for a comfortable visit. What truly elevated my experience and made my stay amazing was the outstanding hospitality, specifically from Janusz, the Polish bartender. He was exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming. I ordered plenty of Long Island cocktails during my stay, and Janusz made them perfectly every single time. If you are looking for a straightforward, budget-friendly hotel with great drinks and a staff member who truly goes out of his way to ensure you have a good time, I highly recommend this place. A huge thank you to Janusz for the excellent service!

The room service for cleaning rooms not very good at all. You have to ask to change your own towels. You have to ask to change your sheets. There was paint peeling from the ceiling falling down onto the bed. Wouldn't entirely recommend it

It was a truly disaster. The rooms are old, broken, dirty and you will find cockroaches, but the main point is: they obligate you to leave the key every time you leave the hotel, however, we had a very bad situation, once the reception guy took our key and when we returned, he gave us a key from another room. They barely have cameras on the floors and we also had something around 20k euros in filming equipments. The hotel is clear saying they are not responsible for things left or stolen in the rooms, but they don’t have safe box, and they let the employees to have a lack of security giving people the wrong key. We asked the receptionist to call a manager when we realized he gave the wrong key, but he didnt call the manager, also, when earguiiung, he said that: its my fault because I should have realized that the key given was not ours. In any moment he apologizes for the lack of security, only attacking us back. All the staff is indian, they barely speak English, sometimes it’s very hard to get understood by them. So please, keep in mind that there are many other good options around, even in front of this hotel. If you dont want your holidays ruined, run away from san remo.
