Asty Hotel Nicosie

A place of great hospitality, wonderfully helpful and gracious hosts, an ideal place to stay to see the city, a short ride into the center of the city (you can also walk, about 30 min.), the hotel is very practical, we got a free upgrade to an Executive room (Zebra), all very clean and charming. The hosts are very friendly, gave us an excellent recommendation for a nearby restaurant with typical, very tasty Cypriot food. At night it was a bit loud (city sounds and some crazy motorcycle drivers), but we did not want to run the a/c, having the door to the balcony open. We would stay here again for the next visit to Nikosia.

As I leave, I sit on the terrace of the Hotel Asti and think that in my long career in tourism, I have never been to a hotel where literally every employee, from the maid, to the beauty working in the restaurant, to the reception staff, cares more about the guests. This hotel is not some wow hotel that will impress you with its modernity, but it is one of those rare ones that will take care of you. A comfortable clean room, a large, clean bathroom, free drinks, fruit and snacks in the hotel lobby, a delicious breakfast, what more could anyone want.

We stayed for two nights to explore Nicosia. It's a nice hotel, quite close to the center. It's a half-hour walk. There's free parking. Breakfast is included. Good value for money.

Everyone is smiling and eager to help and chat. Out of the way center with parking.

Don't get me wrong it was lovely and the staff were angels, but it was dirty and mouldy... (there was also building word so it felt like there was earthquakes but I get that's not their fault)

This hotel is really good. The staff members were really nice and friendly, even though they didn't know English. The food was really good, there were enough things you could eat, even as a picky eater. Our room was really good, there were two beds - one for one person and one for two. There were also a wardrobe, mirror, table, refrigerator, two chairs. The terrace was big enough. The toilet was also with a good size. Overall, the hotel is really good for its price.

Perfect Value for Money - Wonderful Experience The hotel provides perfect value for money! We truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are large and very clean. A major highlight is the good breakfast and the coffee station in the dining area – there is a sophisticated espresso machine available for guests 24/7, which is a real treat. The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful with everything. Regarding location, it is well situated, about a 2 km walk from the city center. Highly recommended!
