Brno Pride 2027
À propos de cet événement
Brno Pride Week is the annual LGBTQ+ festival of the Czech Republic's second city, organised by the local non-profit STUD. Held in late spring — the 2026 edition ran 31 May to 6 June, with the Rainbow parade on Saturday 6 June — it climaxes in a colourful march through Brno's historic centre, typically setting off around Zelny trh (the Cabbage Market) and moving via Malinovskeho namesti and Moravske namesti toward namesti Svobody (Freedom Square).
Unlike the much larger Prague Pride (held in August), Brno Pride is deliberately grassroots and community-run: expect a strong student and arts flavour, with drag, cabaret, film screenings, talks and club nights across independent venues alongside the parade itself. The festival has been held since 2021 and the street parade was revived in 2024 after a long absence.
For 2027 the exact dates are not yet confirmed but the event again falls in late May or early June. Legally, same-sex couples in Czechia gained an enhanced "partnership" with near-marriage rights from January 2025 (this is not full marriage, and joint adoption is still excluded) — a backdrop that gives recent editions extra momentum. Brno is 2.5 hours from Prague by direct train and about 2 hours from Vienna.
