XS Bar

Thanks to Wilfried who, despite challenging service and sometimes complicated management, manages to get the bar staff to keep the noise down for the sake of the neighbors. It's a superb bar and Wilfried runs it masterfully, so come without hesitation, but please be kind to the outside area after midnight and you'll love your experience at XS Bar! THANKS TEAM XS ❤️

Wilfried is great

We went there based on the opening hours listed online, but the place had already closed earlier than expected. It’s understandable that a venue might close sooner depending on how busy it is, but it would be more professional to keep the information updated. What really left a bad impression, though, was the attitude of part of the staff. The first person we spoke to was friendly and welcoming, nothing to complain about there. However, another staff member later approached us while we were simply waiting outside for our Uber, and his tone was unnecessarily rude. We were told to wait somewhere else, which in itself is fair enough, but the way it was said came across as abrupt and disrespectful. In the end, it felt like a wasted trip combined with an unpleasant interaction. There’s definitely room for improvement, both in terms of communication and basic customer service.

The best gay bar in Lyon! The owner, Wilfried, has a biting sense of humor but is lovely, and what can I say about his team? Just amazing (well, sort of 🤣🤣)... Anyway, you get the picture, go there quickly! 😜😍

This is no longer the friendly bar I used to know. The new management doesn't care about customers, not even saying hello or thank you. It's become a neighborhood bar with a clientele of mostly older regulars, no atmosphere, mediocre service, and poor quality wine. It's a shame the new owner couldn't adapt. It's a shame because there are no longer any 100% gay bars in Lyon. Avoid at all costs!

It was better before!! This saying has taken on a whole new meaning since the bar changed hands. What a shame 😂 Where has the friendliness and kindness gone, everything that made this bar what it was?
