Hôtel Oceania Le Métropole Montpellier

The room was nice, but for a four-star hotel, having a raised and very worn floor in the room is unusual. Excellent location, 3 minutes from the main square. Terrible service: we had booked for the pool, but when we arrived they told us it might open in mid-June. I'm sure it wasn't listed when I booked, but now it magically appears on the website. Bar service was embarrassing; we sat for half an hour without anyone serving us.

The good: large, well-soundproofed room, quality bar and restaurant service, attentive staff, and comfortable pillows. The really bad: - The pool was out of order, and no information was provided. - No ramp for luggage from the street. - No directions were given for parking (pedestrian zone, but access to the hotel parking lot is possible if there are signs). - No refrigerator in the room (!!!) - in any of the rooms. - Very poor quality blankets that didn't breathe. We either sweated profusely or were freezing.

Swimming pool not operational otherwise great. Unfortunately my main reason for booking was the pool. So very disappointed. Wheelchair access is via the parking garage which we were only notified on the last day. I would rate partially accessible. Room was lovely - air con efficient and quiet. Staff very were very pleasant

If you're looking for a hotel with excellent value for money, then come to the Oceania. You'll be warmly welcomed by friendly, competent, and smiling staff. The hotel's services are impeccable, and everything is done with meticulous attention to detail. The bedding is very comfortable, the rooms are well-soundproofed and clean, and the breakfast is plentiful and varied with high-quality products – there's something for everyone. Stays at this hotel are always a pleasure and a moment of pure relaxation. Thank you for these excellent services.

Excellent stay!

Great hotel. We had booked a comfortable room but upgraded to a deluxe room. Beautiful, spacious room with a lovely bathroom. It faces the street, but you aren't bothered by the noise at all. The hotel is beautiful with lovely old details. Breakfast was fine; we dined at the hotel once. It was perfectly acceptable but not exceptional, with only a few tables available, so it was wonderfully quiet. The staff is helpful and friendly. Parking in the hotel's parking garage is perfect. Just be sure to study the route carefully beforehand, as it is all one-way traffic.

Beautiful hotel, very well located, allowing you to explore the city on foot – truly fantastic. The staff is competent and always ready to help. It's true that accessing the parking lot is nearly impossible with Waze. The hotel can send you directions to help you.

We were there at the end of April, beginning of May, the pool was still in its winter dormancy.

The location is excellent and the rooms are clean. Unfortunately, there's no minibar or refrigerator in the room, so it's more of a 3-star hotel, but good value for money.
