Hôtel Europe Saint Severin

Excellent hotel! Spacious rooms (which is unusual in Paris), lovely and helpful staff, and a great location near Notre Dame.

Good value for money. Average but comfortable rooms. Perfect location for the city center. We had a problem with the heating, but it was quickly resolved with an electric heater. Overall, a good hotel.

Great location in Latin Qtr. Asked for room with shower..chk! Pd a bit extra for upper floor (4th) Bed...jst enough firmness for comfort. Safe, small refr that I can put a few things in, and double closet incl shelves. Water heating kettle...tea n coffee provided. Room is very clean! (I am picky about this) Hair dryer on bathroom wall! Yay! Newer fixtures in bathroom (toilette.)

While this might be a 3 star hotel, we had a 5 star experience. I booked the "superior" room with balcony as a birthday surprise for my wife. And it was perfect! We were on the 5th floor and looked down on the plaza below which was busy with activity each night, and several nights we enjoyed cheese, susauge, bread and wine while watching the activity below. The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their buffet breakfast several of the days we stayed there. The location of this hotel couldn't be any better. It is literally two minutes to the Metro, and 20 minutes to the Louvre. Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle and the Conciergerie are even closer. A dozen restaurants are reachable within a three minute walk. We loved this place and definitely would stay here again.

There is no shower—a giant corner bathtub with a handheld and no curtain!!!! Only one outlet for the entire room on the outside wall. Feather pillows have no feathers. Thermostat cools to 20C max. No balcony. After service surfaces left dirty, glasses left unwashed and instant coffee not refilled. The location is very central but also extremely noisy until very late from Latin Quarters crowd!!!!! Apparently there are rooms with better layout but we were not aware. All these things are fixable if the owners were interested in their patrons’ comfort, but clearly they are not!

Outstanding hotel. Located in the Latin quarter. Surrounded by restaurants & cafes. Close to metro & easy walk to Notre Dame.

What a find! Near to most sights and highly-rated restaurants (we never got out of the neighborhood for dinner), when we checked in they had upgraded our room. This was one of the highlights of our entire trip as you can't get more French than our cozy attic room with a view of the tower tops of Notre-Dame! #601

Absolutely fresh!

A somewhat dated room, but clean and fine However, a few things were broken, such as the power outlet and hairdryer The only thing that bothered me was that it is very noisy and we could hear the neighbor snoring at night Great location and nice atmosphere

The staff were very attentive and responsive to my father, who is blind. Perfect location, very comfortable and quiet room.

Excellent location, comfortable and clean rooms, and extremely friendly hotel staff.
