Pension Lette Eck is a small budget guesthouse at Letteallee 94 in Reinickendorf, north-west Berlin. It has just five rooms, three doubles and two singles, renovated after the current owner took over in 2010. The pension dates from the 1990s and has been listed in gay travel guides as gay-friendly for years, though it is not a gay guesthouse. Franz-Neumann-Platz U-Bahn station on the U8 is right by the door, which gets you to Mitte and on to the gay bars of Schöneberg with one change. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, so it suits people who want cheap, simple rooms and don't mind a commute. With five rooms, book ahead.
