Hôtel Am Hillmannplatz Nr.1

It’s been a great time staying at the hotel. I booked the hotel at last minute and checked in after office hours. The owner is really helpful, picked my call after office hours and help me to self check in. Also it is centrally located, just 1 min walk from Bremen HBF. Will recommend it to all future travellers.

The rooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. The proximity to the city center means that shops, restaurants, and the old town are easily accessible on foot. However, all sorts of strange characters wander around the square at night.

Although centrally located, it's right in the not-so-safe train station district, where shady characters hang around 24/7. Junkies, very smelly homeless people, dealers, and others! The room was clean. The bathroom was tiny, with a sticky shower curtain. One shower was a complete disaster. Our room was on the first floor, the window overlooking a roof terrace that was littered with trash, pigeons, and their droppings. On top of that, there was a constant, disgusting stench from the kebab shop below. 👎🏼

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at this hotel. The location couldn't be better – right next to the main train station, it's perfect for anyone arriving by train or exploring the city. Many attractions, restaurants, and shops are within walking distance. It couldn't be more central! A highly recommended hotel for anyone looking for central, clean, and convenient accommodation right next to the main train station. I would definitely come back!

Cheap, functional, and clean. I had a single room, which was quite small but perfectly adequate. Unfortunately, the neighbors were a bit noisy. Stairs (no elevator). I didn't have any contact with the reception, so I can't comment on the service. Very centrally located. Highly recommended for anyone who doesn't need any comfort.

A small, very charming, and rather inexpensive hotel. Very centrally located; Bremen can be explored on foot from there. We felt very comfortable and will definitely book there again.

A small, charming, and cozy hotel! Such helpfulness is rare. Our heavy panniers were carried up to the first floor for us. The room had everything one could possibly need. We found the bathroom perfectly adequate. Our room faced the back, so it was reasonably quiet. Since the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, there was a kettle with instant, good espresso and various teas. If you're arriving by bicycle, you can safely park it at the South Station! There's a bicycle parking garage there for €1 for 24 hours, not far from the hotel. When we travel to Bremen again, we know where to stay and will gladly recommend it to our friends and family. This is a small, charming hotel near the old town. The rooms are well-equipped, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom a bit small but relatively recently renovated and clean. The staff was very friendly and gave us restaurant recommendations. We were able to lock up our bicycles securely. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The only drawback was that we could hear the traffic at night. Nevertheless, we would recommend the hotel and would stay there again ourselves.

Simple, inexpensive city hotel. The surrounding area should always be kept in mind, especially in the evenings.
