B&B Hotel Freiburg-West

After reading all the negative comments here, I was a bit apprehensive about coming. The hotel's exterior initially put me off. However, the entrance area is very well done after the renovations. The hallways are still being renovated. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable – finally, no gap in the middle! ;) I'm here on a business trip, and it's more than adequate for that. What did bother me, though, was the noise from some of the other guests (migrant workers), but that's not the hotel's fault. The hotel is located in an industrial area, but that didn't bother me.

We had an appointment between April 27th and 28th. However, due to an unexpected problem on the way, our car broke down. We arrived early in the morning. But the woman working at the reception desk was clearly rude and initially told us to go outside and do our work. She said check-in was closed. However, we could have logged in via the computer. We just wanted to shower and have breakfast. We wanted to get some value for the money we paid. This is a sector that requires a friendly attitude. First of all, we are human beings, not your material possessions or animals. It's not acceptable to bring your personal problems into your work. It's utterly disgraceful.

The rooms were clean and okay, breakfast had a good selection. The service staff could improve the hotel; their attire and friendliness were nonexistent!

Best money - quality hotel in the city !!!

Newly renovated. Unfortunately, breakfast was not available due to the construction work, which wasn't mentioned at the time of booking. There also aren't many staff members, which is a shame given the hotel's concept. But otherwise, it's a good tour hotel.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful after the renovation, very clean, very welcoming.
