I can't agree with the previous reviews. We had a very nice evening in the Bräurosl beer tent. When we arrived, we were let into the tent without any problems and promptly. Our tables were already free and set with cutlery, etc. Our order was taken immediately, and the food was served as soon as possible. The first band was so-so. The second one was fun!

The Bräurosl tent used to be a fixed date in my calendar, especially the first Saturday, which I could reliably reserve for years. Since the change in management, unfortunately, that's no longer the case. Despite years of loyalty, they suddenly say it's no longer possible "due to capacity reasons"—hard to understand and extremely disappointing. The service is generally abysmal. In addition, they apparently can't get the ventilation in the tent right, which makes the experience unnecessarily unpleasant. The chaos during the reservation changeover is particularly frustrating: instead of an organized process, you end up standing outside the tent for ages in all kinds of weather, without any clear information or structure. Overall, everything seems poorly organized and not very customer-oriented. For an Oktoberfest tent with this name and reputation, this is simply unacceptable. A real shame, but currently not recommended.

All the tents try their best... all the tents have good beer and good food... all the tents are overcrowded and always at their limits; when I was a child, you could say: at the Hippodrome it's like this, at the Löwenbräu it's like that... now it's only about making a lot of profit and everything is geared towards sales - all the tents are the same; even the service; everything is the same - uniform; not bad - but no tent is special or unique anymore... Bräurosl - back when I was a child, that's where the real, original Munich locals used to be... that was fun :-)

Honestly, I couldn’t have been any luckier to have my first German Oktoberfest experience here. I even have a video of it on my YouTube! Everything was so smooth and seamless I would absolutely come back again if I ever wanted to. We didn’t reserve a table. Instead, we arrived early (around 12:30), and this worked out perfectly because our group of five waited for only about 20 minutes before getting seated. So if you come early, you might not need a reservation. The tent was already lively and 98% full by the time we arrived. The atmosphere right from the entrance pulls you into the festive mood right away. Despite the crowds, service was impressively fast. I also appreciated that you could pay with either cash or card, which made things easy and less stressful. Food: I ordered the Grillhaxe (pork knuckle) or at least that is what I think it was, and it was delicious. It is honestly my all time German favourite and I always appreciate places that can make it to my expectation. My friends enjoyed their meals as well, and everything was served hot and fresh. Drinks: I went for a Radler. Even that was strong enough to give a nice buzz without feeling too heavy. If you are a lightweight, two big beer mugs between 1300 hrs and 1700 hrs will definitely be enough, haha. One downside: We had to leave at 5 pm on the dot because of what seemed like a shift change for non-reserved tables. It was not a big problem, but it did cut the fun short. If you want to stay longer, I recommend booking a table in advance. Overall, it was a very positive Oktoberfest experience for me. I would give it a 7/10. Great atmosphere, good food, quick service, and helpful staff.
