Labrisz Lesbian Association

Labrisz Lesbian Association (Labrisz Leszbikus Egyesület) has been Budapest's main organisation for lesbian, bisexual and queer women since its founding in 1999. It runs community events and discussion groups, publishes books and educational materials, and coordinates the "Getting to Know LGBT People" school programme that brings LGBTQ+ speakers into Hungarian classrooms. Labrisz is also a long-standing partner in Budapest Pride and other rights campaigns. More information is available at labrisz.hu.
