Chequer Lane by Jamie Oliver

Busy evening in town tonight for culture night and wet, so we called in here and I did not realise till I got home and looking up this restaurant that it was owned by Jamie Oliver, happy to sit at bar and it was very busy, noise levels are high, food was good, wine was excellent but staff let you down, I tried many times to catch the attention of staff for something and next to impossible, yet when we finished our food they were straight over, I didn’t leave a tip, I always tip staff but I just felt I couldn’t as I got no service, I would like to think maybe it’s because it was a busy night but plenty of staff there, all chatting among themselves, disappointing

We really enjoyed our dining experience here, the food was exceptional, delivered by very professional yet sociable waiters, top marks 👌

Very nice, delicious food with several vegetarian options and very good drinks.

The seasonal soup, the duck, the beef tortellini, tomato salad, and crumble were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend. Probably the best food we had in Ireland. Finish your meal with an Americano or Cigarettes and Coffee drink.
