They were patient with me as an English speaker, unlike other Italian restaurants. It can be awkward approaching restaurants alone as a solo traveller, but they made me feel very welcome. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Very friendly people. This is the REAL Italy. I loved it. Thank you.

A peaceful place where you can chat, and the food is simply magnificent! We shared a seven-cheese pizza and pasta alle scarpariello! Absolutely delicious! I also recommend trying their Campari spritz! In short, don't miss this place, which I found thanks to Google reviews!

You can watch the chef at work. Great traditional food. Very hearty portions. Lovely welcoming staff. Definitely worth a visit.

Finding a traditional pizzeria on Via dei Tribunali that has been successfully serving "Neapolitan home cooking" for over 30 years and isn't (yet) overrun by tourists? It exists. Trattoria Pizzeria I Buongustai, with its authentic home-style cooking [cucina come una volta], is primarily run by Neapolitans for Neapolitans. And for tourists who, despite their hunger, resist the temptations of the crowded street to eat there. Perfect gnocchi, a sensational capricciosa, and fantastic shoemaker's pasta (scarpariello). What more could your heart—and stomach—desire? Unfortunately, we only "discovered" it the day before our departure; otherwise, it would have become our regular haunt. Thanks to the whole team for this experience. Highly recommended.
