La Capretta Country House

An amazing experience, absolutely serene and peaceful here. Francesca is the cutest and nicest lady who's running the show here. One of the best meals I've had in Italy. We had the Pasta Umbricelli with white and red ragu, made with love and it all tasted amazing! It was a bit warm in the rooms, but it worked fine with a fan:D Looking forward to be coming back!

We stayed over for 2 nights and fell absolutely in love with the county house and Francesca. She took such good care of us, made hand rolled ragu pasta and uses the vegetables from her own garden. I’m still craving the pasta ever since. If you come in summer be prepared that there is no aircon but the fan in the room helps a lot with the heat. We definitely would love to come back soon. Can recommend staying here - it’s deginately a place to disconnect from the busy every day life. Super quiet area, horses infront of the house.

We discovered this place thanks to Smartbox. We were looking for a place to stop during a road trip, and we had a wonderful time! It's about a 20-minute drive from the Fabro exit. With a 1.5-year-old baby, we enjoyed the pool and restaurant for lunch and dinner. Everything was excellent at reasonable prices, including a generous breakfast, with homemade pies and donuts! The room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom with a double sink. We ate outside and it was wonderful! The staff were friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful old farmhouse in a stunning location. Surrounded by greenery, quiet, with a swimming pool. You can also dine on delicious and plentiful local cuisine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

If you truly want to relive the flavors of yesteryear, this is the place. Add to that the friendliness and helpfulness of Francesca and Orietta, and the rest will follow. It was a peaceful and fantastic weekend. Thank you for everything.

Unfortunately, I can't say I was satisfied with my stay. We stayed two nights, but the comfort of the room was far below expectations. The double bed consisted of two mattresses of different heights, creating a truly uncomfortable situation. Cleanliness left much to be desired, with a large mold stain evident in the bathroom. Furthermore, the bidet didn't work, and there was a bothersome sewer smell in the landing just outside our room. I've also heard of other guests experiencing similar problems, including leaky drains and flooding. I understand the facility is basic, but these inconveniences are unacceptable. Breakfast was rather disappointing, with low-quality packaged products, like supermarket jams, instead of something fresh and local as I would have expected. The place is very nice from the outside, but inside it appears neglected and poorly maintained. I'm sorry, but I can't say I had a good experience.

We ate at the agriturismo. The dinner was excellent. Traditional dishes prepared with passion and balance. Honorable mention for the liver crostini. Out of this world!!!

We stayed two nights at this agriturismo, and Francesca welcomed us with great hospitality. We are vegetarians with various food intolerances, and Francesca far exceeded our expectations, which is not a given. I recommend it if you're looking for a relaxing stay.

Mrs. Francesca is very nice and kind, as well as being an excellent cook. For dinner, my partner and I had the umbriachelli with Cinta Senese ragù in bianco (white pork ragù) and a platter of cured meats, all fresh and of excellent quality. Breakfast was also good, with a wide variety of homemade desserts, including tarts and ring cakes. The service was also excellent. The location from the outside is enchanting, surrounded by nature, a great way to get away from the city. The only thing that could be improved, in my opinion, is the rooms, which need more maintenance and attention. We had the Girasoli room. Otherwise, my partner, I, and our dog Nico had a wonderful time. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and hospitality. Relaxing place. The last kilometer of the road is a bit bumpy, so not suitable for very low cars. The room assigned wasn't entirely to our liking because it was cold (especially the bathroom).

If you want to spend a moment of serenity and eat really well, stop in this place, I recommend it.
