À propos de ce lieu Monument International Gai

The International Gay Monument in Den Haag stands as a significant landmark for the LGBTQ+ community in the Netherlands. Located at Laan van Reagan en Gorbatsjov, this monument is more than just a physical space; it represents visibility and remembrance for queer individuals and their history. While the monument itself is a place for reflection and celebration of LGBTQ+ heritage, its presence in Den Haag signifies a city that is welcoming to its queer visitors. Den Haag, like many European cities, offers a vibrant scene for the LGBTQ+ community, with various bars, clubs, and cultural spaces that cater to a diverse crowd. Visitors can expect a generally inclusive atmosphere when exploring the city's offerings. Though specific events or regular programming at the monument itself are not detailed here, its existence points to a supportive environment for queer gatherings and pride-related activities that may occur in the broader Den Haag area. Great to see this monument in The Hague commentating a proud community. It is a metal sculpture located on a small field with a pond running by it. It is a block north of The Hague's central train station. There are other sculptures to see in the same park as well.
