À propos de ce lieu Hos Peder

Nestled in Oslo's vibrant Grünerløkka neighborhood, Hos Peder offers a welcoming atmosphere for all. This cozy, hopping bistro is known for its exciting menu featuring small plates perfect for sharing, with dishes like halibut crudo, char, and mussels receiving high praise. The drink selection is noted as being greater than the food menu. Visitors often highlight the friendly and attentive staff, even when the venue is busy, contributing to a lovely and fashionable vibe. With a Google rating of 4.7/5, Hos Peder is a popular spot that offers good food at quite reasonable prices, making it a recommended neighborhood gem. While some find the music level high and the food menu limited, many appreciate the healthy and good food made with care and exciting flavors. It's a place that cultivates a "koselig" (cozy) atmosphere, making it a great option for a pleasant evening out in Oslo.

Came here for dinner during our visit to Oslo - food was 10/10 - definitely get the crudo and cabbage if they’re on the menu, good wine list (and non alcoholic selection), helpful and attentive staff.

I have been eating at Hos Peder since they opened in 2024, and have always been happy with both the atmosphere and the service. That's why I was disappointed this time. We arrived around 6pm with friends and tried to get a table as a walk-in, but were told at the door that it was full. That was of course fine. Later we saw online that there was a table available at 8:45pm, so we called to see if we could book. At first we were told that it was possible at 8:45pm, but right after that he said that they still didn't have room for us and hung up. If the restaurant was full or the kitchen was going to close, we would of course understand. But the way this was handled and the poor communication was unfortunately experienced as poor service. We also didn't get the opportunity to ask or get a proper explanation.
