Plaza Stogi (Gay & Naturist Beach)

Plaza Stogi is Gdansk's long-standing naturist and gay-friendly beach, on the Stogi peninsula northeast of the centre (reachable by tram plus a short walk). The unofficial gay/naturist stretch lies to the RIGHT of the main entrance - a 15-20 minute walk along the sand toward the quieter dunes and the pine forest behind them, where cruising has traditionally taken place once the crowds thin out. It is a public beach, so discretion and common sense apply: favour daylight and well-used areas if you are unsure, be aware that voyeurs are occasionally reported in the dunes, and remember that public sexual activity is illegal in Poland even where an area is informally known. Same-sex activity itself is fully legal. Bring water and sun protection - there is little shade on the open sand.
