We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was quiet, a bit outside the town center, yet only 1.5 km away, and the beach was a 5-minute walk. The breakfast was fantastic, with a good selection and a variety of fresh fruit daily. We especially appreciated being able to enjoy breakfast outside on the terrace. Dinner was also always very well prepared. The staff were very friendly, and a big thank you and praise to Brendon – he does a superb job! The only slightly odd thing was that the door to the outdoor area/bar was closed at precisely 10:00 PM (not a minute later), even though people were still enjoying drinks at the bar. To get back into the hotel, we had to go around the outside, through the parking lot, and via the reception entrance. Many other guests found this quite strange, were puzzled by it, and some were even bothered by it. It would certainly be possible, for example, for the bartender to close the door at the end of his shift. At 10 PM, billiards was no longer allowed, the TV (World Cup) had to be switched off, and the lights were turned off. Honestly, I've never in my entire life stayed in a hotel where the lights were turned off at 10 PM.
