L'UOMO

L'UOMO is a men's gay bar on Rua do Bolhao in central Porto, a short walk from the Bolhao market and the city's two gay saunas. Smaller and more intimate than the clubs on the Candido dos Reis strip, it draws a grown-up, cruisy crowd and leans into a sensual, men-only atmosphere rather than a dancefloor. It works as a quieter alternative -- or a first stop -- on a night that might end up at the saunas or on the Baixa party streets nearby. Central, low-key and easy to reach on foot from Aliados, it is one of the more discreet corners of gay Porto.
