PRIDE România (Asociația Pride)

PRIDE România, which runs public events as Asociația Pride, is the main LGBTQ+ organisation in Cluj-Napoca. Activist Lucian Dunăreanu founded it in 2002 as Be An Angel Romania, and it registered under its current name in 2018. It organises Cluj Pride, which held its first march in 2017. The 2026 edition was a festival week from 15 to 21 June that ended with a march from Piața Unirii. Since 2004 the group has also run Gay Film Nights (Serile Filmului Gay), Romania's first queer film festival, usually held in autumn. Events and calls for volunteers are posted on asociatiapride.ro and on Instagram and Facebook as @asociatiapride. We could not confirm a public drop-in office.
