Hôtel Colon Guanahani

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it. Everything was perfect from start to finish. All the staff were friendly, courteous, and attentive. We felt welcome and well taken care of at all times. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and offered everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We especially appreciated the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere of the entire resort, which is ideal for unwinding and rejuvenating. Another highlight was the excellent food – varied, fresh, and of high quality. Many thanks to the entire team for the wonderful time. We would love to return again!

A very good hotel that leaves little to be desired. From reception to service, kitchen to cleaning staff, everyone was very friendly, courteous, and helpful. We were greeted in excellent German at reception, and an iron, for example, was provided immediately. The bathroom has a large shower and ample storage space. A walk-in closet with plenty of hangers is also available. The hotel is a welcome departure from the mass tourism in the town and the surrounding hotel complexes. We even received a small surprise in our room upon departure. Thank you for that! :-) The price-performance ratio is excellent. There are no parking spaces for rental cars at the hotel. The dining room looks a bit dated.

Super hotel...I would renovate the reception, but it's truly top-notch in every way. Service 10 Room 9 Staff 9 Pool 10 Breakfast has a few flaws, but it's still good. I'll be back.

Mixed experience: Great location and breakfast, but highly unprofessional front desk service Great location near the beach and a late-night supermarket. The rooms were clean despite the older building. The gentleman serving breakfast was incredibly kind and welcoming every morning. However, the check-in and room service experience was highly unprofessional. Upon arrival, a front desk staff member made an inappropriate and discriminatory gesture towards us as Asian guests. This was deeply offensive and completely unacceptable for a hotelier. Additionally, the TV in our room was broken(Netflix didn’t work). After two failed technical attempts, we requested a room change. The female staff member on duty was dismissive and unhelpful, only changing her attitude after the technical issue was officially confirmed. We wasted over an hour resolving this and had to move our own luggage without receiving any apology. While some employees were wonderful, the unprofessional behavior of the front desk staff significantly ruined our overall stay.

A very nice hotel with friendly service. The food was good. The location was good, although the entire town was typically touristy and lacked charm.

It's an excellent hotel for a few days on the coast, both for its facilities and location. The pool is fantastic with a pleasant water temperature, green areas, shade, a café, and restrooms on the sun loungers... the breakfast buffet is superb. Highly recommended.

A lovely hotel where you can enjoy a wonderful vacation. Breakfast and lunch were delicious, and the location is perfect if you want to experience an activity and beach holiday as a couple. I would definitely want to come back here!
