Hôtel SOHO Barcelona

We enjoyed our time at the Hotel Soho! Great location and a the rooftop is a bonus! The staff was friendly and helpful too.

The room was tidy and clean, the location was close to the center, and daily cleaning was provided.

A 3-star hotel that's almost worthy of a 4-star. Excellent location. Only two things could be improved: 1) There's no toilet brush, and it costs 3 euros at IKEA. 2) There's no ashtray outside the hotel for smoking.

Staff and location were awesome. Great value hotel. HOWEVER; please be advised that the blinds in your room are encased within the windows and will be fully closed for the entirety of your stay. Fully closed. Zero natural light. The entire time. Every room. Those pictures you see of floor to ceiling windows, with light flowing in? Half true. The windows are there but the blinds will be fully closed with no explanation as to why they cannot/will not be opened. Every room is like a basement room. Otherwise, clean and satisfactory.

Really great stay here - highly recommended. Location was ideal - we walked basically everywhere we wanted to go for the whole trip. The room was spacious and very clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and the shower was really nice. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. We only had them refresh our room once in our stay but I was impressed that they got to it even though we only changed our sign from 'Do Not Disturb' in the afternoon, and they did a great job. We didn't use the pool but the rooftop area seemed nice (though the room they upgraded us to also had a private terrace!). We didn't try the food but they do have breakfast available for an additional cost, or you can walk across the street and have excellent pastries at Escriba. The only thing I didn't love was the design with the bathroom - it has transparent walls with shades built in and it wasn't obvious how to use those (there was a switch by the sink but we didn't figure it out until our last day) and even with the shades closed, quite a lot of light escapes if you turn on the bathroom lights in the middle of the night. A nightlight in the toilet room would make this a lot better.

Good hotel in a great location with great staff. Some aspects of the room were underwhelming. A few burnt out lightbulbs and some issues with the door but they fixed it immediately! Design is overly modern at the expense of functionality.

A hotel located in a nice area of Barcelona with coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Federico who greeted us as we arrived was a star, full of great energy and was so helpful recommending us restaurants and tourist attractions. Unfortunately our room had one of those showers that change to boiling hot water randomly to burn your arse.

I highly recommend it! The hotel staff were excellent, very comfortable and well located. We'll definitely be back!

I recently stayed at this hotel and was very satisfied with my stay. It's easy to get to from the airport, and the location is also good. The staff was friendly and always helpful with any questions. Our room was clean, well-maintained, and nicely furnished. We especially enjoyed the balcony with its lovely view. The only minor drawback was the slightly dirty ventilation system, but otherwise, there was nothing to complain about. The breakfast selection was rather small, but perfectly adequate. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.
